## 13. Contested & Contradictory Findings

### The Weight Numbers Problem

The most widely cited engagement weights (Like=0.5, Reply=13.5, Retweet=1.0, etc.) originate from the **March 2023** open-source release. The **January 2026** release uses a fundamentally different Rust/Grok/Phoenix architecture and **explicitly withheld exact weight coefficients** (confirmed by Typefully, Gajus, and PPC Land).

Many platforms (PostEverywhere, TweetArchivist, Hypefury) present the 2023 weights as current 2026 values without clearly distinguishing the releases. The engagement hierarchy is likely similar, but the specific numbers should be treated as approximations, not gospel.

### Video Performance Paradox
