//! The long-lived half of workspace continuity.
//!
//! Everything a DECISION depends on lives in the `wsb` library's `peer`
//! module, where it is tested without a network. What lives here is what only
//! a process that stays can do: hold connections open, watch filesystems,
//! carry bytes, and reconcile.
//!
//! # Why the daemon owns this
//!
//! The daemon used to do no work — it held the store and served the page, and
//! every operation was a child `wsb`. Continuous synchronisation cannot be a
//! child process: it is a set of long-lived services with state that must not
//! be rebuilt every few seconds. Finite operations still run as children; a
//! peer connection, a watcher and a sync session are the daemon's.
//!
//! ```text
//! service the machine's identity, the listener, the peer table
//! connection one authenticated channel, and the requests over it
//! inventory what each side has, exchanged
//! coordinator reconciliation: desired + git + filesystem + peer → next act
//! transfer staging and applying, transactionally
//! ```
