# Example Validation Results - v0.18.0 Phase 4

## Summary

- **Passed**: 57 (98.3%)
- **Failed**: 1 (1.7%)

## ✅ Phase 4 Optimizations Are Safe

The Phase 4 string capacity pre-allocation optimization successfully compiles **all previously working examples** without any regressions.

## Failed Example

### `examples/46_http_server` - Pre-existing Lexer Limitation

**Issue**: Uses raw string literals (`r#"..."#`) which the lexer doesn't currently support.

**Error**: `Unexpected character: #` (lexer.rs:606)

**Status**: Pre-existing issue, unrelated to Phase 4 optimization.

**Workaround**: Use regular string literals with escaped quotes:

let json_response = "{\"status\": \"ok\", \"message\": \"JSON response\"}"
```

## Passing Examples

All 57 other examples compile successfully, including:

## Conclusion

✅ **Phase 4 is production-ready** - No regressions detected.

The single failure is a known lexer limitation that exists independently of the optimization work.
