SequenceData

Struct SequenceData

Source
pub struct SequenceData { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

An array representing the equation A[i] = base + i * multiplier.

The base uses the output ptype, while the step is normalized to i64 or u64 and may fall outside that ptype. Construction ensures every sequence value fits the output ptype.

Implementations§

Source§

impl SequenceData

Source

pub fn validate( base: PValue, multiplier: PValue, dtype: &DType, length: usize, ) -> VortexResult<()>

Source

pub fn ptype(&self) -> PType

The array’s output ptype.

Source

pub fn base(&self) -> PValue

Source

pub fn multiplier(&self) -> PValue

Source

pub fn wrapping_bits(&self) -> VortexResult<(u64, u64)>
