url-sanitize: code is MIT (see LICENSE). Rule data from upstream lists keeps
its source license.
The native `url-sanitize` binary (crates.io, GitHub Releases, Homebrew, Scoop)
embeds the default catalog, built from:
- ClearURLs Rules (https://github.com/ClearURLs/Rules): LGPL-3.0-only
- Brave Debouncer, query-filter and clean-URLs lists (https://github.com/brave/adblock-lists): MPL-2.0
- Firefox Query Stripping records (Mozilla Remote Settings): MPL-2.0
So the binary as distributed is MIT AND LGPL-3.0-only AND MPL-2.0.
The license texts are in LICENSES/.
Corresponding source: every release is built from the git tag that matches
`url-sanitize --version`, https://github.com/antonio-orionus/url-sanitize/tree/v<version>,
and the same source is published as the `url-sanitize` crate on crates.io.
The embedded data is crates/url-sanitize/catalog/catalog.json. To use modified
rule data, replace that file and run `cargo build --release -p url-sanitize`.
The AdGuard URL Tracking filter (GPL-3.0, via @url-sanitize/adguard) is not
part of the default catalog or the binary.
This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by ClearURLs, Brave, Mozilla,
or AdGuard.
