This project also has a [beads](https://github.com/gastownhall/beads) workspace, wired in `tix.toml` under `[beads] mode = "{mode}"`.
- `tix beads status` / `tix beads list` / `tix beads show <id>` read the workspace through `bd` (read-only).
- `tix beads push` writes local issues into beads (`bd import`); `tix beads pull` brings beads changes in.
- **Never open the beads database.** Every interaction goes through the `bd` CLI — no SQL, no `.beads/embeddeddolt/`, and `.beads/issues.jsonl` is not a source of truth.
- Do not hand-edit `.beads/` or the state file `.tix-beads-state.json`; the state file holds the identity pairing and is safe to commit.
