The tensoren crate defines a generic API for working with multidimensional
arrays, which crates like tensoren-cpu and tensoren-wgpu implement on
top of different devices.
Terminology
The name of this crate comes from the German plural of "tensor," in honor of Woldenmar Voigt, who introduced the term in his 1898 book Die fundamentalen physikalischen Eigenschaften der Krystalle in elementarer Darstellung.
