# Installation
## Quick Install (Recommended)
For an automatic installation that detects your system:
```bash
Or if you prefer to inspect the script first:
```bash
curl -fsSL https://alexpasmantier.github.io/television/install.sh -o install.sh
chmod +x install.sh
./install.sh
```
## Dependencies
`tv` ships with a few channels by default, which require the following dependencies in order to work correctly:
- [`fd`](https://github.com/sharkdp/fd) – `find` alternative
- [`bat`](https://github.com/sharkdp/bat) – `cat` alternative with syntax highlighting
- [`rg`](https://github.com/burntsushi/ripgrep) - `grep` alternative
You'll find installation instructions for each on their respective github pages.
