id: String

Unique message id; also the deduplication key.

created_at_ms: u64

Epoch milliseconds at which the message was filed.

from: MailAddress

Live return address of the sender.

from_name: String

Name the agent should know the sender by (reviewer-3@mac-studio).

kind: MailKind

Source kind; decides the trust wording.

reply_via: ReplyVia

How an answer travels back.

in_reply_to: Option<String>

Message this one answers, when known.

in_reply_to_inferred: bool

True when in_reply_to was inferred (a native reply that carried no id) rather than stated by the sender.

thread: Option<String>

The conversation this message belongs to, as email’s References name it: the id of the message that opened it. Absent on a message that opens one (or one filed before threads were kept).

native_from: Option<String>

The harness-native sender address this arrived under, kept as metadata only (a Claude uds: socket). Never a reply destination.

body: String

Message text, exactly as sent.
