RouteRequest

Struct RouteRequest

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct RouteRequest { pub method: Method, pub uri: Uri, pub headers: HeaderMap, pub body: Bytes, pub client: ClientAddress, }
Expand description

Owned view of a request handed to an ExtraRouteHandler.

Unlike RequestParts, this owns its data (including the full body), since an extra route may consume the body to produce a response.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§method: Method

Request method.

§uri: Uri

Full request URI (path + query).

§headers: HeaderMap

Request headers, with the forwarding headers as the client_address.forward policy wrote them (see RequestParts::headers). Decide on client.

§body: Bytes

Request body bytes.

§client: ClientAddress

The client address the proxy resolved, with the connection’s peer.

Implementations§

Source§

impl RouteRequest

Source

pub fn new( method: Method, uri: Uri, headers: HeaderMap, body: Bytes, client: ClientAddress, ) -> Self

The request a handler gets: what the proxy builds, and what a handler’s own tests build.
