DigestAlgorithm

Enum DigestAlgorithm

Source
pub enum DigestAlgorithm<'a> {
    Written(AlgorithmIdentifier<'a>),
    Implied {
        algorithm: ImpliedDigest,
        field: &'static str,
        span: Span,
    },
}
Expand description

Original written algorithm or a normative schema-supplied identity.

Implied inputs have no encoded AlgorithmIdentifier and no parameter TLV. A written unsupported/malformed identifier must never become an implied default. The enclosing field/span locate the implied identity with real document provenance, without synthesizing bytes or a new Parser.

Variants§

§

Written(AlgorithmIdentifier<'a>)

The complete original identifier, encoding and parameter provenance.

§

Implied

A schema default/mandatory identity without an original identifier TLV.

Fields

§algorithm: ImpliedDigest

Identity selected by the ESS schema, with no implicit NULL fallback.

§field: &'static str

Original enclosing ESS field.

§span: Span

Original enclosing ESS identifier span.
