## Issues

### ISSUE-001: Escape Sequence Handling Bug in Quoted Strings

**Status:** ✅ RESOLVED - Already Implemented (2025-11-01)

**Severity:** ~~CRITICAL~~ (Issue was based on incorrect diagnosis)

**Resolution:** Deep investigation revealed that strs_tools already fully implements escape sequence handling at split.rs:462-498. All MRE tests pass. The downstream parsing failure in unilang_parser was caused by a separate bug in unilang_parser's command path parser (parser_engine.rs:385-404), not by strs_tools.

**Evidence:**
- Escape handling implementation verified at split.rs:462-498
- All 5 MRE tests in tests/issue_001_mre.rs PASS
- strs_tools correctly produces: `["cmd", "::", "value with \"inner\" quotes"]`

**Actual Bug Location:** Filed new issue in unilang_parser at `/home/user1/pro/lib/wTools/module/core/unilang_parser/task/issue_command_path_parser_bug.md`
