What init saw at the project root.

Fields§

§cargo: bool

Cargo.toml exists.

§nextest: bool

cargo nextest is installed.

§npm_scripts: Vec<String>

package.json’s scripts, by name.

§node_manager: Option<String>

npm, pnpm, yarn or bun, from the lockfile; None without package.json.

§python: bool

pyproject.toml, setup.cfg, setup.py or pytest.ini exists.

§python_run: Vec<String>

How checks start the project’s Python: uv run --locked --offline python for a uv project (uv makes the environment in whichever tree the check runs in — a run’s worktree has no .venv/, which is never committed), else a project-local virtualenv’s interpreter, else python3.

§pytest: bool

pytest runs with that interpreter (or python3).

§ruff: bool

[tool.ruff] (or ruff.toml) is configured.

§mypy: bool

[tool.mypy] (or mypy.ini) is configured.

§go: bool

go.mod exists.

§make_test: bool

A Makefile with a test: target exists.

§include: Vec<String>

The checkout’s git-ignored .env files: proposed for [worktree] include.

§worktreeinclude: bool

A .worktreeinclude exists: runs read it already.
