Module verify 

speccoder verify: run the project’s declared checks and judge the result.

Modules

config

speccoder.toml: the checks a project declares.

junit

JUnit XML → per-test results: the common report format of nextest, pytest --junitxml, jest-junit and Surefire.

process

Running a check: argv only, no stdin, scrubbed environment, a deadline for the whole process group, capped output.

summary

Test runners’ own summaries → counts, for runs without a JUnit report . Each runner’s summary lines are stable, documented output: libtest and nextest, pytest, jest and vitest, go test.

Functions

check_argvs

The argv of every configured check (for the command policy).

find_config

The nearest ancestor of start (inclusive) holding speccoder.toml.

rerun_once

A failed check runs once more: failing again, the second run stands; passing, it is flaky — named, and never task evidence. Timeouts and errors are not re-run.

run_checks

Runs the applicable checks of the project containing path and returns the report (no comparison yet). Err is a configuration problem: no speccoder.toml, an invalid one, or nothing applicable — never a pass.

verify

Runs the checks of the project containing path with runner.
