What is spat?

spat is primarily a command-line tool for shortening UNIX-like paths. Additionally, it provides a library function which has similar functionality to the command-line tool.

Installation

spat can be built and installed using cargo.

$ cargo install spat

Usage

To view help for usage, run spat --help. Some basic usage is shown below.

$ spat ~/.local/share/cargo/bin
~/.l/s/c/bin
