# Two-source cancellation on the CPU

Build two equal point emitters in opposite phase, sample their coherent field
on a physical plane, and realize the certified `interference/Study` through the
local evaluation fabric. The runtime validates the problem, sampling contract,
work budget, and result Shape before exposing the Tensor-backed field.

Use `interference/project` after the solve when a display-sized scalar
projection is needed. Projection consumes the solved field and never invokes a
propagation provider.

The study is homogeneous, isotropic, three-dimensional, scalar, and
free-field. It does not model polarization, impedance, interfaces, obstacles,
or diffraction. Amplitude-squared projections are normalized observables, not
physical intensity, power, or energy.
