semlith links against third-party Rust crates, each distributed under its own
license (predominantly MIT and Apache-2.0). The authoritative list for any
given build is Cargo.lock; `cargo tree` will show it, and `cargo license` or
`cargo about` will render the full license texts.

Downloaded as a prebuilt binary at build time and linked into the binary
that ships, so nothing is fetched for it on a user's machine.

The client that performs the runtime model downloads described below.
At runtime, semlith downloads embedding model weights from the Hugging Face
Hub. Those weights are covered by their own licenses, granted by their
respective publishers, and are not distributed as part of this repository.
The default model is granite-embedding-small-english-r2 at int8, fetched
from onnx-community/granite-embedding-small-english-r2-ONNX (Apache License
2.0), the ONNX export of ibm-granite/granite-embedding-small-english-r2
(Apache License 2.0).
A store that holds an image also fetches the CLIP ViT-B/32 pair,
Qdrant/clip-ViT-B-32-vision (MIT License) and Qdrant/clip-ViT-B-32-text
(MIT License).
