RustAST

Struct RustAST

Source
pub struct RustAST { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Rust source code with parsed AST.

This is the main entry point for AST manipulation. It wraps a syn::File and provides high-level operations.

Implementations§

Source§

impl RustAST

Source

pub fn parse(source: &str) -> SourceResult<Self>

Parse Rust source code into an AST.

Source

pub fn from_file(path: &Path) -> SourceResult<Self>

Load and parse a Rust file.

Source

pub fn file(&self) -> &File

Get a reference to the underlying syn::File.

Source

pub fn file_mut(&mut self) -> &mut File

Get a mutable reference to the underlying syn::File.

Source

pub fn source(&self) -> Option<&str>

Get the original source if available.

Source

pub fn to_string_pretty(&self) -> String

Convert the AST to a pretty-printed source code.

Source

pub fn to_token_stream(&self) -> TokenStream

Get the token stream.

Source

pub fn collect_imports(&self) -> Vec<&ItemUse>

Collect all use statements.

Source

pub fn collect_used_identifiers(&self) -> HashSet<String>

Collect all identifiers used in the code (excluding imports).

Source

pub fn find_unused_imports(&self) -> Vec<UnusedImport>

Find unused imports.

Source

pub fn remove_unused_imports(&mut self) -> Vec<UnusedImport>

Remove all unused imports. Returns the removed imports.

Source

pub fn visit_mut<V: VisitMut>(&mut self, visitor: &mut V)

Apply a custom visitor mutation.

Source

pub fn visit<'a, V: Visit<'a>>(&'a self, visitor: &mut V)

Apply a custom visitor (read-only).

Source

pub fn items(&self) -> &[Item]

Get all items in the file.

Source

pub fn items_mut(&mut self) -> &mut Vec<Item>

Get mutable access to all items.

Source

pub fn filter_items<F>(&self, predicate: F) -> Vec<&Item>
where F: Fn(&Item) -> bool,

Filter items by type.

Source

pub fn functions(&self) -> Vec<&ItemFn>

Get all functions.

Source

pub fn structs(&self) -> Vec<&ItemStruct>

Get all structs.

Source

pub fn impls(&self) -> Vec<&ItemImpl>

Get all impl blocks.
