# Code Of Conduct
Rustipo is an open-source project, and we want contributors, users, and maintainers to feel safe
participating in it.
## Our standard
Please help keep the project respectful, constructive, and welcoming.
We expect people in Rustipo spaces to:
- be respectful in disagreement
- assume good intent, while still giving honest technical feedback
- focus criticism on ideas, code, and behavior rather than people
- be patient with newcomers and people asking basic questions
- avoid harassment, insults, intimidation, or exclusionary behavior
## Unacceptable behavior
This project does not permit behavior such as:
- personal attacks or name-calling
- harassment, threats, or sustained hostility
- discriminatory or hateful language
- sexualized language or unwanted attention
- deliberately undermining or mocking contributors
- publishing private information without permission
## Scope
This code of conduct applies to:
- GitHub issues
- pull requests and review threads
- discussions around Rustipo development
- other project spaces where someone is representing Rustipo
## Reporting
If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, contact the maintainer privately through
[GitHub](https://github.com/fcendesu).
When reporting, include:
- what happened
- where it happened
- who was involved
- any relevant links or screenshots
Reports will be reviewed in good faith and handled as carefully as possible.
## Enforcement
The maintainer may remove comments, close or lock conversations, reject contributions, or block
participants whose behavior harms the project environment.
The goal is to protect a healthy contributor experience, not to punish good-faith mistakes more
than necessary.
