How a dispatched attempt failed (spec 003, 3.6.1). Deadline and cancellation are not classes: they end a request, and are never retried or a fallback trigger.

Variants

InvalidOutput

The output failed the core’s validation.

Transient

The adapter says the failure may not recur.

Overloaded

The adapter says the backend refused for load.

Permanent

The adapter says the failure will recur for this input.

TimedOut

The attempt timeout passed.

AdapterFault

The adapter panicked.
