# Rustd Resolved migration stages
1. Preserve the certified upstream compatibility surface.
2. Add native Rustd daemon, client, install, and unit names.
3. Rename project-specific package, crate, internal ABI, test, and artifact names.
4. Re-run the full exact-source replacement certificate.
5. Rename the GitHub repository only after the certificate is green.
At every stage, the upstream command, D-Bus, Varlink, NSS, unit, user, and
filesystem identities remain aliases or protocol contracts backed by the same
implementation.
