# Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Runbound.

By submitting a pull request, patch, or any other contribution to this repository,
you agree to the following terms.

---

## 1. Definitions

- **"Contribution"** means any original work of authorship, including modifications or
additions to existing work, submitted by you to this repository.
- **"Licensor"** means RedlemonBe (redlemonbe@codix.be), the copyright holder of Runbound.
- **"You"** means the individual or legal entity submitting the Contribution.

## 2. Grant of copyright license

You grant the Licensor a **perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable**
copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly
perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and any derivative works thereof,
under any license the Licensor chooses — including proprietary and commercial licenses.

## 3. Grant of patent license

You grant the Licensor a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable
patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise
transfer your Contributions where such license applies to patent claims licensable by you
that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone or in combination with Runbound.

## 4. You retain your rights

This agreement does **not** transfer ownership of your Contribution. You retain all
copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may continue to use, publish, or
sublicense your Contribution under any terms you choose, provided you do not represent
that your Contribution is an official part of Runbound without the Licensor's consent.

## 5. Representations

You represent that:

- You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
- If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have received
permission to make this Contribution on behalf of your employer, or your employer has
waived such rights for your Contribution.
- Your Contribution is your original work and, to the best of your knowledge, does not
violate any third party's intellectual property rights.

## 6. No warranty

Your Contribution is provided **"as is"**, without warranty of any kind.
