Struct Local

Source
pub struct Local {
    pub name: String,
    pub ty: Option<usize>,
    pub decl: Option<Place>,
    pub spot: Spot,
    pub scope: Option<usize>,
}
Expand description

One local the program declared.

A parameter is not here even when it has a place. It is already a child of the subprogram, from the signature, and a second entry for it would be a second variable of the same name. What it gets instead is Param::spot.

Fields§

§name: String

Its name, as the C program spelled it.

§ty: Option<usize>

Which of the unit’s types it is, and None when this compiler cannot yet say, which is the case Global::ty explains.

§decl: Option<Place>

Where it was declared, and nothing when that is not known.

§spot: Spot

Where in the machine it is, over the addresses of the function it is in.

§scope: Option<usize>

Which of its function’s scopes it was declared in, and None for one written directly in the body of the function.
