Lifecycle state of a task group.

A shutdown moves a group through Closing, Closed and ShutdownCompleted in that order.

Variants

Open

Accepts tasks and child groups.

Closing

Admission is closed; cancellation has not yet reached every task.

Closed

Admission is closed and cancellation was broadcast; owned work is draining.

ShutdownCompleted

Shutdown finished and its report is published.

Poisoned

A task panicked; the group rejects new work until it is shut down.
