Decoder

Struct Decoder

Source
pub struct Decoder { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A running decode session for one audio file.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Decoder

Source

pub fn open<P: AsRef<Path>>(path: P) -> Result<Self, Error>

Open path and start decoding. Blocks while another Decoder exists anywhere in the process (the codec state is global).

Source

pub fn metadata(&self) -> &Metadata

Tags and stream properties of the open file.

Source

pub fn next_chunk(&mut self) -> Option<Chunk>

Next buffer of decoded PCM, or None at end of track (or after a codec error — check Decoder::status).

Source

pub fn seek(&mut self, pos: Duration)

Request a seek to pos (picked up at the codec’s next command poll; PCM already queued from before the seek still drains first).

Source

pub fn elapsed(&self) -> Duration

Playback position last reported by the codec.

Source

pub fn status(&self) -> Option<i32>

Codec exit status: Some(0) after a clean end of track, Some(negative) after a codec error, None while decoding.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Drop for Decoder

Source§

fn drop(&mut self)

Executes the destructor for this type. Read more
Source§

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
