rff-codec-jpeg

The JPEG / MJPEG still-image codec adapter for remade_ffmpeg_rs — pure Rust, no C/FFI. Decode and encode.

• Decode and encode baseline and progressive JPEG.
• Used for both still images and MJPEG video streams — in FFmpeg's model these are the same codec.
• JPEG is royalty-free (the core baseline patents are long expired).

This crate is one layer of remade_ffmpeg_rs — a ground-up, permissively-licensed Rust rebuild of FFmpeg: a drop-in ffmpeg/ffprobe CLI on pure-Rust codecs, with no copyleft. Most users want the rff engine facade or the rff-cli binaries rather than this crate directly.
