pub enum Method {
Reml,
Ml,
}Expand description
Estimation method for the variance components.
Variants§
Reml
Restricted maximum likelihood — unbiased variance components; the default and the standard choice for inference on the random effects.
Ml
Ordinary maximum likelihood — variance components biased downward, but the likelihoods are comparable across models with different fixed effects.
