# Concurrency, Generations, Mailboxes, and Worker Lanes
Quinjet preserves input responsiveness and reply correctness with generation-tagged
commands, fixed coalescing slots, priority rules, and separate latency lanes.
This chapter documents the current implementation, the Git or systems concept behind it,
the cost it avoids, the correctness condition that constrains it, and the evidence
expected before it changes. It is intentionally detailed enough to serve design review,
regression investigation, and onboarding rather than only feature discovery.
