pub struct WeakJsObject<T: NativeObject + ?Sized = ErasedObjectData>(/* private fields */);Expand description
A weak handle to a JsObject, from JsObject::downgrade.
Opaque on purpose: the object it points at is a crate-private type, and a
host holding one of these has no business naming it. The only question worth
asking is whether the object is still alive, which Self::upgrade
answers.
This exists for host-side caches keyed by something other than the object
itself. A DOM binding caches a wrapper per node so === and expando
properties behave; holding those strongly makes the cache the sole reason
every wrapper stays alive, so nothing keyed by it can ever be released.
