CacheOutcome

Enum CacheOutcome

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum CacheOutcome { Hit, Miss, Bypassed, }
Expand description

Whether a lookup in a JwtCache was answered from it.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Hit

A live entry for the token answered, and no signature was checked.

§

Miss

The token was verified, whatever the verdict, and cached if it could be.

§

Bypassed

Nothing to look up: the request carried no token, or its Authorization header was not a bearer token at all. Not counted as either of the others, so a server mostly answering anonymous requests does not read as one whose cache never hits.
