## Features NOT in WASM (Rust-only)
The following features require the full `parse()` function which is not exposed to WASM:
### Mutation Operations
- **INSERT** (`POST`) - Insert with conflict resolution
- **UPDATE** (`PATCH`) - Safe updates with required filters
- **DELETE** - Safe deletes with required filters
- **PUT** (Upsert) - Auto-conflict detection from filters
### Advanced Mutations
- **ON CONFLICT** - Partial unique indexes, selective updates
- **RETURNING** - Return inserted/updated/deleted rows
- **Prefer Headers** - return=representation, count=exact, etc.
### RPC Operations
- **Function Calls** - `POST /rpc/function_name`
- **Named Arguments** - `function(arg1 := value)`
- **Filtered Results** - Apply filters to function output
These features are fully implemented in Rust and tested with 312 unit tests, but WASM bindings currently only expose SELECT query parsing.
## Performance Characteristics
From Example 20 (Performance Test):
- **Throughput**: ~1000+ queries/second in WASM
- **Average latency**: <1ms per query
- **Zero database connections** - Pure parsing
## Schema Introspection
**Q: Do any features require schema introspection?**
**A: No.** This is a **pure parser** that:
- ✅ Parses PostgREST query strings
- ✅ Generates parameterized SQL
- ✅ Validates syntax
- ❌ Does NOT connect to databases
- ❌ Does NOT validate table/column existence
- ❌ Does NOT inspect database schemas
Schema resolution only happens through:
1. Explicit notation: `auth.users`
2. HTTP headers: `Accept-Profile`, `Content-Profile`
3. Default: `public` schema

## SQL Injection Prevention
All user input is placed in **parameterized query values** (`$1`, `$2`, etc.), never interpolated into SQL strings. This provides complete protection against SQL injection attacks.
