# area
Takes one or more features and returns their area
in square meters.
**Parameters**
- `input` **([Feature](http://geojson.org/geojson-spec.html#feature-objects) \| [FeatureCollection](http://geojson.org/geojson-spec.html#feature-collection-objects))** input features
**Examples**
