# Physics in Parallel documentation

These guides describe **PiP 4.1.1-alpha**, a documentation patch with the same
runtime, public API, and data formats as 4.1.0-alpha. Older-generation users should
read [release migration](RELEASES.md).

**All AI agents must read [docs/AGENTS.md](AGENTS.md) before working with PiP.**

4. [Tensors, matrices, and vectors]guide/4-tensors-matrices-and-vectors.md
5. [Randomness and sampling]guide/5-randomness-and-sampling.md
6. [Spaces, lattices, and pairs]guide/6-spaces-lattices-and-pairs.md

Each chapter ends with a link to the next. Chapters 1–3 get a simulation running;
4–6 explain numerical and spatial foundations; 7–9 cover particles and data;
10–12 cover performance, extensions, and AI-assisted integration.

## Existing projects

Follow the [project migration procedure](AGENTS.md#migrate-an-existing-project-to-pip)
for adopting PiP while preserving existing science. This is distinct from
[upgrading an older PiP release](RELEASES.md).
