Material

Enum Material

Source
pub enum Material {
    Lit(MaterialParams),
    Unlit,
}
Expand description

Light-reactive surface response for vector primitives.

This is intentionally named Material; texture is reserved for future bitmap-backed texture maps and pattern data.

Variants§

§

Lit(MaterialParams)

Responds to scene lighting using parameterized material coefficients.

§

Unlit

Ignores scene lighting and preserves legacy unlit rendering behavior.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Material

Source

pub fn resolve_in_graph(&self) -> ResolvedMaterial

Resolves nested coefficients from the entered UI graph’s projections.

Source

pub fn snapshot(&self) -> ResolvedMaterial

Captures published coefficients without evaluating the UI graph.

Source§

impl Material

Source

pub fn matte() -> Material

A soft, low-specular material suitable as the default lit response.

Source

pub fn glossy(specular: f64) -> Material

A higher-specular material with lower roughness.

Source

pub fn metallic(metallic: f64) -> Material

A metallic material response.

Source

pub fn emissive(color: Color, intensity: f64) -> Material

An emissive material that adds color independent of lights.

Source

pub fn custom(params: MaterialParams) -> Material

Creates a lit material from explicit coefficients.

Source

pub fn unlit() -> Material

A material that ignores authored lights.

impl StructuralPartialEq for Material

Source§

impl ToPaxValue for Material

Source§

fn nested_properties(&self) -> Vec<UntypedProperty>

Live properties read when snapshotting a compound value for PAXEL. Adapters observe these as well as the containing property.
Source§

fn to_pax_value(self) -> PaxValue

Converts this value into a PaxValue.
Source§

fn to_pax_value_in_graph(self) -> PaxValue
where Self: Sized,

Converts against owner-thread graph views, including nested generated property fields. Requires an entered property graph for shared fields. Ordinary Self::to_pax_value reads published value snapshots.
