This crate reserves the oxigeo-streaming name on crates.io for OxiGeo, the Pure-Rust geospatial data abstraction library formerly named OxiGDAL.

Status

  • v0.0.1 is a placeholder and contains no functionality.
  • It reserves the name ahead of the oxigdal-* to oxigeo-* rename.
  • The real implementation — the successor to the oxigdal-streaming crate — ships in the OxiGeo 0.2.0 line.

About the rename

OxiGDAL is being renamed to OxiGeo. v0.1.7 is the final release under the OxiGDAL name; development continues as OxiGeo from v0.2.0.

OxiGeo is an independent reimplementation and is not affiliated with the GDAL project.
