# openbim-ids instructions

Purpose: buildingSMART IDS: parse specifications and audit a model against them.

Follow `../AGENTS.md`. Read `PLAN.md` only for assigned implementation or
roadmap work; keep progress, blockers, and evidence there.

## Boundary

openbim-core plus the IFC layer when auditing. Never depended on by the IFC layer.
