## Relicensing grant (2026-10-11)
Code in this repository ported from the following DreamLab-AI repositories was
originally published under AGPL-3.0 (VisionClaw crates `vault`, `vault-core`,
`visionclaw-domain::vault`) or AGPL-3.0-or-later (knowledgeGraph `pipeline/`).
Those works were authored solely by DreamLab-AI and its agents under the
direction of Dr John O'Hare, who holds the copyright and grants their reuse here
under MIT OR Apache-2.0. The grant does not cover, and this repository must not
contain, code derived from the solid-pod or sidestr lineages or from
`vault/src/nostr.rs` and its governance posting, which remain AGPL-3.0-only in
VisionClaw.
## Upstream attribution
The portable reasoner derives from Whelk (Scala), by Jim Balhoff and contributors
(BSD-3-Clause), and whelk-rs (Rust), by Björn (b-gehrke) and contributors (MIT),
through the jjohare fork. Both inherited notices are preserved in
crates/whelk-el/LICENSE-WHELK-BSD and crates/whelk-el/LICENSE-WHELK.
The project relicensing grant above does not replace these upstream terms.
The released engine also includes third-party libraries, including MPL-licensed
im, bitmaps and sized-chunks. See THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md for their licence texts
and source availability, and docs/UPSTREAMS.md for the audited dependency scope.
