No error, no warning. Just quietly mangled pages.\n\nAtlassian's own bug tracker has had this open for months. Their fix on the Jira side was to make the LLM author raw ADF JSON trees directly - workable for a model, brutal as a UX. The Confluence side still has several open issues for the same class of bug.\n\nomni-dev takes a different approach: an extended Markdown dialect with directives for the ADF-only constructs (panels, mentions, layouts, decisions, status badges), with every conversion checked against Atlassian's published schema. If a node would be lost in the round-trip, the conversion fails loudly with a structured error pointing at the offending JSON path - instead of silently dropping content.\n\n~45 MCP tools across Jira and Confluence, destructive-command guards, written in Rust. Install with `cargo install omni-dev --features mcp` or via the public Docker image at https://github.com/orgs/rust-works/packages/container/package/omni-dev-mcp.\n\nPosted a full writeup on r/mcp with setup details and a tour of the directive syntax:\nhttps://www.reddit.com/r/mcp/comments/1tam8tz/omnidev_atlassian_jiraconfluence_mcp_server_with/\n\nRepo: https://github.com/rust-works/omni-dev","url":"https://www.facebook.com/JohnKy1/posts/pfbid0SDEB23MaZ9sGCTWxsaZEFo7fGHWPNj2pSRwW3yGtrsHiZrfUNUYihq7CUja3bGCPl","shared_link":"https://github.com/rust-works/omni-dev"}

He pushes harder than Snape can push back. He uses his fame. He makes threats. He uses his time turner to escape in a way no first year is supposed to. He wins the fight clean.\n\nThen he loses unfettered access to the time turner. Professor McGonagall restricts it because of what he did with it. The thing that made him powerful is now locked down. He won the fight and lost the war, and did not see it coming.\n\nThen in chapter 19, Professor Quirrell pulls him aside and teaches him how to lose. Not how to avoid losing. How to lose on purpose, in small ways, so you do not burn the things you actually need.\n\nBecause someone who cannot bear to lose any fight has a weakness. Enemies don't have to beat them. They just keep picking fights the person cannot walk away from. Every \"win\" costs something real, and sometimes the cost is the thing that was making you win.\n\nThis is the US and Iran right now.\n\nBoth have set things up so any visible backing down looks like surrender. Iran cannot look weak in front of its allies. The US cannot look weak in front of its allies either. So every small fight has to be won.\n\nBut each win burns something. Ships. Money. Sanctions that used to bite. Allies who used to pick up the phone. Oil routes that used to be quiet. The winning quietly eats the things they need to keep winning.\n\nPride kills. Sometimes you have to swallow a small loss to avoid losing the thing that was making you strong in the first place.\n\nIn any case, HPMOR is recommended read.","url":"https://www.facebook.com/JohnKy1/posts/pfbid02ksHENrNRQgCJp73ABGhd4ayxsBnjm7ZrQ1Q2A2QyGXoqkXozNafHQAvFWMK8eGGQl","shared_link":"https://hpmor.com/"}
