The structural template a language binding uses to emit a method, independent of language.

Collapses the per-binding match request_type { … } dispatch (which Python, Node, and TypeScript each repeated identically) into a single analysis decision. Each variant corresponds to one emit-shape helper every binding already has (*_list_method_impl, *_create_method_impl, *_get_update_method_impl, *_delete_method_impl).

Variants

List

Streamed/collected list — returns the repeated item type. (List, or a custom GET named List*.)

Create

Factory/create — body in, returns a (possibly unrelated) response message. (Create, or a collection-style custom POST/PATCH factory like Generate*.)

GetUpdate

Get-or-update — path params (+ optional body), returns the resource/response. (Get, Update, a resource-targeted custom POST/PATCH, or any other custom verb on a flat service.)

Delete

Delete — path params, no response. (Delete.)
