#[non_exhaustive]pub enum Encoding {
Hex,
Base64,
Raw,
}Expand description
How the digest is written out.
The reference package calls this encoding. Hexadecimal is its default and
the one a cache key is normally written in; base64 is shorter, and raw bytes
are what a caller wants when the digest is fed to something else.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Hex
Lowercase hexadecimal, two characters per byte. The reference’s default.
Base64
Standard base64 with + and /, padded with =.
Raw
The raw digest bytes.
