# moq-mux

Media muxers and demuxers for [Media over QUIC](https://moq.dev). Takes
containerized or raw-codec media in, produces a [hang](https://github.com/moq-dev/moq/tree/main/rs/hang) broadcast — or the other way around.

**Containers:** fMP4 / CMAF, MKV / WebM, MPEG-TS, FLV, LOC, hang Legacy.
**Codecs:** H.264, H.265, AV1, AAC, Opus.

The crate splits along two axes:

- `container::*` describes how media frames are packaged on the wire (and
  sometimes in a file). Each container owns its wire encoder plus any
  matching file-format import/export.
- `codec::*` parses each codec's configuration record and provides an
  importer that publishes a raw bitstream into a broadcast.

For format-string dispatch (e.g. `--format avc3`), use `import::Framed` or
`import::Stream`. For lower-level control, instantiate a codec/container
importer directly.

See the [API docs](https://docs.rs/moq-mux/) for the full module map.
