RustCrypto: ML-DSA
Pure Rust implementation of the Module-Lattice-Based Digital Signature Standard (ML-DSA) as described in the FIPS 204 (final).
About
ML-DSA is a digital signature algorithm (formerly known as CRYSTALS-Dilithium) which provides post-quantum security, i.e. it is designed to remain secure against attacks using future sufficiently powerful quantum computers.
Three parameter sets (i.e. security levels) are supported:
- ML-DSA-44 (NIST Category 2)
- ML-DSA-65 (NIST Category 3)
- ML-DSA-87 (NIST Category 5)
Higher categories provide a larger security margin at the cost of larger keys and signatures.
