ChapterTitleTooLong

Struct ChapterTitleTooLong

Source
pub struct ChapterTitleTooLong { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Payload for DemuxError::ChapterTitleTooLong.

A chapter’s title has no terminator inside [METADATA_VALUE_MAX_BYTES].

Distinct from the budget error, and deliberately so. ChapterTitleBudgetExhausted means the file’s titles together exceed what the caller allowed, and a caller answers it by raising DemuxLimits::max_total_chapter_title_bytes. This one means a single value runs past a structural cap this crate owns and no seat can move — folding the two together would offer a knob that cannot fix it.

Refused rather than truncated (a truncated title is a different title), and refused visibly: reporting it as an absent title, as this road used to, made the mirrored table silently disagree with the container and slipped the value past the budget entirely.
