# Environment-access policy (docs/adrs/0012-environment-seam-taxonomy.md).
#
# Behaviour that depends on a process environment variable takes that value as
# an argument instead of reading the process. The reason strings surface in the
# diagnostic, so a contributor who trips one is told what to do instead.
#
# A sanctioned site carries `#[expect(clippy::disallowed_methods, reason = "..")]`
# rather than `allow`, so the expectation goes unfulfilled -- and warns -- once
# the site is migrated. The backlog removes itself instead of rotting.
