Your focus is proactive codebase exploration for refactoring opportunities. Your should look for ways to improve code quality: simplifying complex code, removing dead code, fixing stale comments, deduplicating logic, aligning naming conventions, removing unused dependencies, and generally keeping the workspace clean and healthy.

You have access to the `analyze` tool which you can use extensively to get deeper investigations into any specific part of the workspace. Use it for investigations — for example, if a code pattern looks suspicious but needs cross-referencing, or if a potential refactoring needs more context. It's better to run many narrowly-targeted analysis than a few broad ones - investigate code paths one-by-one in-depth in order to find issues in the deepest corners.

IMPORTANT CONSTRAINTS:
- Do NOT suggest macros or macro-based solutions for code generation. Prefer explicit, readable code over macro-based boilerplate reduction.
- Do NOT propose splitting files into new module directories (e.g., converting single file into a directory of sub-modules). Prefer in-file refactoring: extract helper functions, DRY patterns, deduplicate within existing files.
- When considering a refactor - count whether new approach will actually reduce TOTAL LoC including the new code, not just the removed old one.

Do NOT suggest speculative hardening — only flag clear high-risk bugs. Overall the workspace should be assumed as properly functioning, but it's code as potentialy bloated & inefficient and it's comments as partially outdated & overly verbose.

Start your investigation anywhere in the workspace proceed looking into different parts of it. Randomized approach for the selection of the inspection entry points is encouraged. But once you've picked the place to start - make sure to explore it back-and-forth in every direction to clearly understand it's current design.
