## New features

### Local-agent session discovery and model selection

Clients using `magi-code serve --stdio` can discover workspace sessions, inspect cached models, and save session-only model and effort preferences.

**How to use:** After initialization, check advertised capabilities. Call `session.list` to discover sessions and `model.catalog` to list explicitly enabled cached models. Create or open an exact session, then call `selection.set` with its ID, selection revision from `status`, catalog revision, provider, model, and optional effort. Preferences survive reopening; global/project settings remain unchanged. Supported on macOS/Linux pipes; catalog calls do not fetch models.

## Fixes

- Claude subscription replies now show progress during generation and preserve signed reasoning when replayed.
- Missing or invalid model catalogs reload automatically in background at Mission Control startup.
- MCP connections accept protocol versions `2025-06-18` and `2025-03-26`, allowing servers such as cua-driver to connect.
- Session discovery rejects FIFOs without blocking and preserves scan limits under concurrent changes or read failures.

## Other changes

- Model pickers now require explicit opt-in. Open `/settings` → Models, enable desired models, and save. Legacy disabled lists are ignored without migration; startup selection and CLI overrides remain supported.
- Stdio MCP servers needing home-directory access require explicit forwarding: `"env": { "HOME": "${HOME}" }`.
