## New features
### Read excerpts from large files
The agent can now read bounded raw line ranges from large local files without loading the whole file.
**How to use:** Ask the agent to inspect a specific line range in a large file. Raw excerpts contain no edit anchors; edits require a separate anchored read.
## Fixes
- Report incomplete file reads and searches explicitly. Preserve failed and omitted files in results, and allow anchored edits only on fully returned lines.
- Keep failed and unknown Code Mode actions visible in execution summaries. Preserve observed outcomes and unsaved changes through history-write failures and compaction.
- Improve website text contrast across bundled themes, keyboard navigation, enlarged-text layouts, and documentation copy controls.
## Other changes
- Load and switch large sessions faster, look up session titles without listing every session, and display long responses sooner. These improvements apply automatically.
- Agent Bash commands on Unix now enable `pipefail`, so a failed pipeline stage cannot be hidden by a successful final command. This does not enable `errexit` or change hook defaults.
- Simplify documentation and organize website references.
