## New features
### Extended Claude subscription context
Explicit `[1m]` selections for Opus 4.6 and newer and Fable 5 and newer now use a 1,000,000-token input ceiling. Other selections retain 202,000.
**How to use:** Install Claude Code, run `claude auth login`, then launch:

magi-code --provider claude-subscription --model 'claude-opus-5-5[1m]'
```
Opus 5.5 requires Claude Code 2.1.280 or newer. Account access still applies. The ceiling does not guarantee successful full-window requests. Existing subscription usage credits may incur charges; magi-code does not enable them.
## Fixes
- Claude subscription no longer depends on the CLI’s private conversation-replay acknowledgment protocol.
## Other changes
- Claude subscription compaction now uses shared `agent.compaction.auto` settings and inherits the active model unless explicitly overridden. Separate Claude controls and the required alternative compaction model are removed.
