## Release Process

### 1. Version Update
```bash
# Update version in Cargo.toml
# Update CHANGELOG.md with release date
# Commit changes
git add Cargo.toml CHANGELOG.md
git commit -m "Release v0.1.0"
```

### 2. Tag Release
```bash
git tag -a v0.1.0 -m "Release v0.1.0"
git push origin main
git push origin v0.1.0
```

### 3. GitHub Actions Will:
- Run all tests on Ubuntu, macOS, and Windows
- Run clippy and fmt checks
- Build release binaries for all platforms
- Create GitHub Release
- Upload binary artifacts

### 4. Post-Release
- [ ] Verify CI passed
- [ ] Download and test release binaries
- [ ] Announce release
- [ ] Consider publishing to crates.io

## Crates.io Publication (Optional)

To publish to crates.io:

## System Requirements

### Build Dependencies
- **Ubuntu/Debian**: `pkg-config libfontconfig1-dev`
- **macOS**: `pkg-config fontconfig`
- **Windows**: vcpkg or use WSL

### Runtime
- No additional dependencies after build
- Single static binary

## Known Issues

None at this time. The project is production-ready!
