};
let coordinator = CheckpointCoordinator::new(
backend.clone(),
Duration::from_secs(10),

);
```
## Usage Examples
### Storing Window State
```rust
use serde::{Serialize, Deserialize};
#[derive(Serialize, Deserialize)]
struct WindowState {
window_id: String,
count: u64,
sum: f64,
}
// Create window
let window = WindowState {
window_id: "window_123".to_string(),
count: 100,
sum: 4567.89,
};
// Serialize and store
let key = format!("window:{}", window.window_id);
let value = bincode::serialize(&window)?;
backend.put(key.as_bytes(), &value).await?;
// Retrieve and deserialize
if let Some(data) = backend.get(key.as_bytes()).await? {
let window: WindowState = bincode::deserialize(&data)?;
println!("Window: count={}, sum={}", window.count, window.sum);
}
```
### Batch Operations
```rust
// Batch PUT
let windows = vec![
(b"window:1", serialize(&w1)),
(b"window:2", serialize(&w2)),
(b"window:3", serialize(&w3)),
];
backend.batch_put(&windows).await?;
// Batch GET
let keys = vec![b"window:1", b"window:2", b"window:3"];
let values = backend.batch_get(&keys).await?;
// Batch DELETE
let deleted = backend.batch_delete(&keys).await?;
```
### Error Handling
```rust
use processor::error::StateError;
match backend.get(b"window:123").await {
Ok(Some(data)) => {
// Process data
}
Ok(None) => {
// Key not found
}
Err(StateError::StorageError { details, .. }) => {
eprintln!("Redis error: {}", details);
// Trigger alert, retry, or fallback
}
Err(e) => {
eprintln!("Unexpected error: {}", e);
}
}
```
### Monitoring
```rust
// Get statistics
let stats = backend.stats().await;
println!("Hit rate: {:.2}%", stats.hit_rate() * 100.0);
println!("Error rate: {:.2}%", stats.error_rate() * 100.0);
println!("Avg latency: {}μs", stats.avg_latency_us);
// Check health
if !backend.health_check().await? {
eprintln!("Redis unhealthy!");
// Trigger alert
}
// Monitor memory
let memory_mb = backend.memory_usage().await? as f64 / 1_048_576.0;
if memory_mb > 8192.0 {
eprintln!("High memory usage: {:.2}MB", memory_mb);
}
```
## Performance
### Benchmarks
- **Single GET**: ~1-2ms (local Redis)
- **Single PUT**: ~1-2ms (local Redis)
- **Batch GET (100 keys)**: ~3-5ms
- **Batch PUT (100 keys)**: ~3-5ms
- **Checkpoint (1000 windows)**: ~20-50ms
### Throughput
- **Single operations**: ~10,000 ops/sec
- **Batch operations**: ~100,000 ops/sec
- **Pipeline operations**: ~200,000 ops/sec
### Resource Usage
- **Connection overhead**: ~1-2MB per connection
- **Checkpoint overhead**: ~2x state size during snapshot
## Troubleshooting
### Redis Not Available
```
Error: StorageError { backend_type: "redis", details: "Connection failed after 3 retries" }
```
**Solution**: Ensure Redis is running and accessible:
```bash
```
### High Latency
```
Avg latency: 15000μs (15ms)
```
**Solution**: Check Redis server load and network:
```bash
redis-cli --latency
redis-cli INFO stats
```
### Checkpoint Failures
```
Checkpoint failures: 5
```
**Solution**: Check disk space and permissions:
```bash
df -h /var/lib/optimizer/checkpoints
ls -la /var/lib/optimizer/checkpoints
```
